Throughout this mentoring session, you will be exploring new research methods and analyzing how these methods can be fully utilized in the development and writing of your doctoral project. In a peer-to-peer mentoring model, you will be engaged in a weekly graduate seminar discussion and various team projects that involve the entire cohort. The faculty mentor will provide guidance and feedback to all students.
Creating this “learning community” as quickly as possible provides a strong support system. Research shows this is critical to the successful completion of a doctoral degree program.
This initial mentoring session will be eight weeks in duration, made up of four modules, each two weeks long.
