Maria Sanchez-Patino, PhD

Dr. Sanchez Patino is a JIU professor in the Ed.D. and M.Ed. programs and a consultant to educational organizations. She has a Ph.D. in education with emphasis on educational planning and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. Dr. Sanchez-Patino has devoted a significant part of her professional life to the education of adults, especially teachers. She has successfully mentored several graduate students and faculty members at Venezuelan universities. She was Academic Dean of Francisco de Miranda Community College for five years, and has served as a consulting editor of publications in educational research.
