PhD, University of PretoriaDr. Pitt holds joint positions as Professor of Marketing in the School of Marketing, Curtin University of Technology, and as a Fellow in Marketing and Strategy in the Cardiff Business School, University of Cardiff in the U.K. He has also taught marketing and electronic commerce in MBA and executive programs at schools such as Warwick Business School, London Business School, Ecole Nationale Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University, and the Graham School of Continuing Studies at the University of Chicago. Dr. Pitt has conducted in-house management development programs for leading organizations throughout the world, including British Airways, the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, Volkswagen, the Royal Metropolitan Police Service, Armstrong World Industries, The Economist, and Lloyds TSB. He has been the recipient of a number of awards for teaching excellence, including the MBA Teacher of the Year at Henley, and MBA Teacher of the Year (two years running) at Copenhagen Business School.
