David Seibold, PhD

Chair of the Communication Department, University of California, Santa Barbara

Dr. Seibold is a Professor and Chair of the Communication Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has also been a faculty member at the University of Illinois, Purdue University, and the University of Southern California. Dr. Seibold has published or presented nearly 200 papers and is currently the editor of the Journal of Applied Communication Research. He is Chair of the Organizational Communication Division, and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Communication Association.
